Alex Fernandez is a true freshman on the 2021 GMAC Conference and Regional Champions at Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tennessee. Alex is from Smyrna, Tennessee. He played high school baseball at Stewarts Creek High School and participated for 5-Star Mid-South on the showcase circuit, where he played for Matt Cohick. He has an athletic frame which he used to run a 6.76 sixty-yard dash. Alex can play multiple positions on the infield and outfield. He scored a 31 on his ACT and graduated valedictorian in his class, and is now pursuing a Business degree with a focus on Sports Management.
