Daniel Lucas is a sophomore at Trevecca Nazarene University where he majors in Pastoral Ministry. He attended Friendship Christian High School where he earned accolades such as Wilson County Student Athlete of the Year and the 2019 TSSAA Leadership Award. In the shortened 2020 season at Trevecca, Lucas hit .250 appearing in three games as a freshman. Lucas would also help the Trojans in their 2021 NCAA Division II World Series run after grabbing the Great Midwest Athletic Conference and Midwest Regional Championship titles. Lucas is returning from Tommy John surgery heading into the 2022 season.
